David has been a favourite speaker of ours for several years, and we still want him to return! Today he told us about the life of the Blue-tit. As ever he used his humour to good effect and this combined with serious fact and backed up by superb photography made a wonderful presentation. In addition to the talk he gave useful hints on general garden feeding techniques and positioning of feeding points and nesting boxes.
Some of us have heard David talk in other venues, and he always plays to his audience, and this adds to a most enjoyable afternoon.
He made a few sales to enthusiastic members and joined with us for tea and biscuits. Thank you David, no doubt we shall see you again in two/three year’s time.
Our DECEMBER meeting is, as usual, our Christmas lunch held at the Appleby Inn.
January will be a rest month! Though the tza committee will meet as usual.
February will see us back at Norton Juxta Twycross to hear Roger Coley, former Zoo Vet [he followed Mary Brancker], talk about bringing an elephant to the UK from India.
