April saw the return of David Tideswell, with more tales and beautiful photos of garden birds found in the UK.
Complemented with bird call imitations the talk was well received by all, including a visiting Russell Terrier.
David also gave us tips on attracting birds into the garden, preparing nest sites and boxes, and planting cover from predators. There was also some useful advice about feeding stations along with the recipe for ‘David’s Log Goo’ – a high energy concoction to see our feathered friends through the cooler months.
With a variety of cakes served afterwards, the meeting was a treat, in more ways than one.
